A LOOK INSIDE

Less “what do I say?”
More “I can start here.”

Choose a moment to see a real example of the approach. The full kit has a calm, heated and already-escalated version for each one.

THE FAMILIAR OPENING

“I’ve told you five times. Give me the phone.”

The request can get lost in the accusation.
TRY THIS OPENING01 / CALM
“Phone time ends at eight. Do you want a five-minute warning or a timer you set yourself?”

Use a realistic time that matches your existing agreement. Give a choice about the reminder, not an open-ended extension.

DOES THIS FEEL FAMILIAR?

For the parent who cares.
And is tired of repeating it.

The same request.
The same loop.

“One more minute” keeps moving. You want a clear next step without turning every reminder into a speech.

You have a boundary.
You need the words.

You’re not looking for a new parenting identity. You want a direct, respectful way to say what needs to happen.

It already came
out too sharp.

You want to own your part, pause if needed and come back to the conversation without dropping the issue.

Written for everyday family disagreements. These materials are educational, not therapy or a crisis-response plan.

THE COMPLETE COLLECTION

Seven moments.
Twenty-one ways to begin.

One version for when it’s calm. One for when it’s heating up. One for when you need to come back and repair.

MOMENT 07 / REPAIR

Start again.
More gently.

“I pushed for an answer when you needed space. I’m sorry.”

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

A few good questions.

Will this make my teenager stop arguing?

No script can guarantee how another person responds. First Line gives you practical ways to state a request, listen, pause and repair. The part you practice is your own response.

Is this a parenting course or therapy?

Neither. It is a practical educational kit of suggested language for everyday disagreements. It is not a clinical treatment, a crisis plan or a substitute for individualized professional support.

How are the 21 scripts organized?

There are seven moments with three versions each: calm, heated and already escalated. Each version includes the familiar opening, why it may backfire, a suggested swap, a next step if tension rises and a repair line.

Do I need to print anything or use Notion?

No. The PDFs and included HTML reader work on a phone or computer. The card deck is optional to print. Notion import files are included for people who already use Notion; no Notion account is required for the kit.

What if I’ve already yelled today?

Start with The Repair Line or the already-escalated version of your moment. Own what you said, offer space and return when it is reasonable to talk. An apology may take longer to be accepted than it takes to say.

How will I receive the files?

Access will be provided through the delivery method shown at checkout after payment approval. Keep your purchase email for the access and support details.

Are there recurring charges or required extras?

No. First Line is a one-time $12 USD purchase. The 7-Day Quiet Reset and Phone Agreement Builder are optional separate products. You do not need them to use the core kit.

What is the refund policy?

Request a refund within 14 days of purchase using the support details in your receipt. You do not need to demonstrate a parenting result. See the refund page for the complete policy.

START WITH THE PART YOU CAN PRACTICE
